The Giant Calla Rides Again
How could a whole week go by without my posting about the giant Calla Lily?
When we went up to Strybing for the plant sale, I took a picture with one of theirs:
Now. I am six feet tall. In my stockings. That is almost a 7 foot tall calla lily, methinks.

I adore callas, I wish I could grow them here, the season is so short I am lucky to get 1 flower above 3 inches, nevermind a giant one, I envy the flight attendants that return from Columbia with a few dozen of these giants wrapped in cardboard boxes for $10 bucks!
